Veri*Factu invoicing software: start 2027 with your homework done
Veri*Factu will become mandatory in 2027 for the software you issue invoices with. For every invoice and every ticket, Vectura Suite generates its record with the chained hash and its QR code, and sends it to the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT) using your electronic certificate. You can switch it on today, try it out in the test environment and not wait for the deadline.
Demo account
Fictitious data, nothing sent to the tax authority or by email. Reset every night.
What's included
One record for every invoice and every ticket
When a document is issued, its invoicing record is generated with its hash, chained to that of the previous document: nothing can be altered or slipped in without it showing. It works the same for invoices as for POS tickets.
QR code to verify the invoice
Every invoice and every ticket carries its QR code so that your customer can check it on the Spanish Tax Agency's online portal. It appears on the PDF and on the printed ticket.
Submission to the Spanish Tax Agency
Records are sent with your electronic certificate or the platform's. Under “Electronic invoicing” you see the status of each document (pending, sent, accepted or with errors) and you can retry a submission in one click.
Cancellations
If you cancel a ticket or an invoice that has already been recorded, its cancellation record is generated and sent, and it joins the same hash chain.
Corrective invoices
Correct an invoice with a corrective invoice by differences: it is recorded and sent like any other invoice, chained to the original. POS returns are reported as a simplified corrective invoice, with its own QR.
Test mode
Switch on the Spanish Tax Agency's test environment to practise with no tax validity, and go live when everything works.
The whole invoicing workflow
Quotes, orders, delivery notes, invoices and recurring invoices all follow the same workflow: every invoice you issue is recorded without you having to do anything else.
Nothing to install
It runs in the cloud, from the browser. We build in the regulatory updates ourselves: you don't have to buy a new version.
Frequently asked questions
What is Veri*Factu?
It is the system the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT) uses to make sure that invoicing software cannot be used to alter invoices. Each invoice generates a record with a hash chained to the previous one and a QR code; in the Veri*Factu mode these records are also sent to the Spanish Tax Agency. It is regulated by Royal Decree 1007/2023.
When is it mandatory?
According to Royal Decree-Law 15/2025, on 1 January 2027 for companies subject to Corporate Income Tax and on 1 July 2027 for everyone else required to use it, including the self-employed. The dates have been postponed before: confirm them with your adviser.
Who has to use it?
Businesses and professionals who issue invoices with a computer program, both self-employed people and companies. There are exceptions, such as those who already report their invoices through the Immediate Supply of Information system (SII). In the Basque Country, TicketBAI applies instead of Veri*Factu, and Vectura Suite covers that too.
Do I have to send every invoice to the tax authorities?
With the Veri*Factu mode, the software sends each record to the Spanish Tax Agency when the invoice is issued; the other option is to keep them signed and provide them only if you are asked for them. Vectura Suite sends the records and shows you the status of each one.
Do I need an electronic certificate?
Yes. To send the records you need the company's electronic certificate (or its representative's). You upload it in the settings, or you can use the platform's; we will help you get it up and running.
What about POS tickets?
Each ticket generates its record and its QR code just like an invoice. A return is reported as a simplified corrective invoice and, if you cancel a ticket that has already been recorded, its cancellation record is generated.
Can I try it before it becomes mandatory?
Yes. Switch on test mode to send to the Spanish Tax Agency's test environment with no tax validity and, when everything works, go live. You can start with the free trial, no card needed.
What happens if I don't use compliant software?
The anti-fraud law provides for penalties for anyone who uses or sells software that allows invoicing records to be altered. Ask your adviser how it affects you.
Shall we try it with your business?
Create your account and try it with your own data, no card and no commitment.
